Creative Motion Studios

Creative Motion Studios is at 150 Springside Drive, Suite A130 in Akron, Ohio, and is entering its sixteenth season of teaching dancers of all ages and skill levels. Its programs are grouped into four tracks: Early Childhood for ages 18 months to 6 years, focused on developmentally appropriate movement; Classic for ages 5 to 18 with classes in acro, ballet, pre-pointe and pointe, hip hop, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre; a Competitive team for dancers aged 6 and up that requires a placement audition and a larger time commitment; and adult classes for anyone over 18 with no experience necessary. The studio states a mission of keeping dancers both comfortable and appropriately challenged, with instruction emphasizing proper technique, age-appropriateness and safety alongside values such as hard work, responsibility and humility. It advertises a free trial class, runs open house sessions for prospective families, holds an annual recital, offers summer camps and classes, and hosts birthday parties.
