About this studio
Char-Mar School of Dance has operated since 1973 and describes itself as an inclusive, encouraging and family-friendly studio for dancers of all ages. It teaches from its Palm Beach Gardens studio, added a second space at 4119 Burns Rd for the 2026-2027 season, and also runs mobile-teaching partnerships that deliver classes at schools in the area. The class list spans ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, contemporary, musical theatre and a newly added ballroom class for ages 8 and up. Adult classes include an evening adult hip hop class aimed at parents. Alongside recreational classes the studio fields a competition team that performs at StarPower events including Nationals, where its routines earned 5 Star and Premiere awards. The 2026-2027 season began on 10 August; registration and accounts are handled through a Studio Pro parent portal, and the studio also runs summer workshops and intensives.
