About this studio
Brisbane Dance Workshop (BDW) is a non-profit now in its fourth decade, offering theatre and dance classes for children and adults aged 3 and up. Classes are held at the Brisbane Community Center, 250 Visitacion Avenue, Brisbane, California, and the organization partners with professional artists to teach. The curriculum is graded by age and grade: creative movement for preschool and kindergarten, Modern I to III from 1st grade through high school, Tap I to III from age 6, Ballet I and II plus a teen/adult Vaganova-based class, Hip Hop I to III drawing on popping, tutting, waacking and house, and Theater I to III. Students perform in a December showcase and the annual BDW show in May. Scholarships are available.
