Boca Ballet Theatre is a non-profit youth civic dance company and school at 7630 NW 6th Avenue in Boca Raton, Florida, celebrating 35 years and led by artistic directors Dan Guin and Jan Tyree. The School of Boca Ballet Theatre offers training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and modern dance for dancers of all ages, with a published training philosophy, a school calendar, summer workshops and a College Dance Fair for students considering dance in higher education. Its performance season is built around fully staged productions such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and La Bayadere, cast by audition, in which students appear alongside guest professional dancers from major companies, an approach the organization sums up as inspiration through exposure.
