About this studio
Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico is a Dallas non-profit arts organization whose stated purpose is education and cultural awareness through the arts. It combines a professional performing company, available for bookings alongside mariachi and quinceanera packages, with the ANMBF Dance Academy, which teaches beginner to intermediate ballet folklorico and classical ballet to students aged 3 and up. Academy classes are held at the Anita Martinez Recreation Center at 3212 N. Winnetka Ave in West Dallas, with in-person enrollment each semester - registration opening in July for the autumn term and December for the spring. Classes are capped at 25 students and require a minimum of five participants to run. The organization is named for its founder, Anita N. Martinez, and its projects are supported in part by grant awards.
