This choreopoem by Ntozake Shange is a collection of vivid prose and free verse narratives about and performed by Black women, celebrating survival, sisterhood, and the strength of women whose stories deserve to be heard. Director Ken'ja Brown, who previously directed American Son at Theatre Arlington, returns to helm this production. The show runs for a limited two-weekend engagement as part of Theatre Arlington's Season Extras, with performances Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.
