The Nutty Nutcracker at Bass Performance Hall

Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) has announced that the December 16, 2022 performance of The Nutty Nutcracker at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth will be the company’s last presentation, after 12 seasons, of the pop culture-infused parody for the coming years.  

Today, Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) announced its 2022-2023 season, including an additional production, a world premiere, and classic favorites. The nonprofit ballet company will open the season with Cirque du Ballet, a world premiere production featuring an array of characters and choreography from the world’s most popular ballets.

Texas Ballet Theater will return to its resident performance venues in the 2021-2022 season, starting with the holiday favorite The Nutcracker. The nonprofit ballet company will open its season with The Nutcracker, choreographed by TBT Artistic Director Ben Stevenson, O.B.E., at Winspear Opera House in Dallas November 26.

Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) will present four productions in its updated 2020-2021 season, featuring added performances and adjustments in response to the impact of COVID-19 on the organization and the community.

Texas Ballet Theater has released its 2020-2021 season, which includes four world premieres as well as returning, family-friendly ballets. As a resident company of both Bass Performance Hall and Winspear Opera House on the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus, the company will perform in both Dallas and Fort Worth.

As a resident company of both Winspear Opera House on the AT&T Performing Arts campus and Bass Performance Hall, the Company has the opportunity to perform in both Dallas and Fort Worth.
