Mocky Horror Riffs "Plan Nine from Outer Space" at Four Day Weekend

Dallas’ only live, interactive, movie-mocking comedy show is performing its first ever riff at the storied Four Day Weekend Comedy Theater in Lower Greenville. 

The Mocky Horror Picture Show (mockyhorror.com) will perform a live riff of Ed Wood’s “Plan Nine from Outer Space” at 10 pm on Saturday, May 16 at Four Day Weekend (5601 Sears St.) Tickets are just $10 per person and available at the door or online at https://mockyhorroratfourdayweekend.eventbrite.com. 

This time, they’re taking on Ed Wood’s infamous 1957 sci-fi horror flick. This Z-grade classic (which Danny loves, by the way) stars a cast of hammy actors telling the story of aliens who attempt to take over the world by raising the dead.

Mocky Horror features comedians Liz Barksdale, Danny Gallagher, and Albie Robles riffing on a movie from a script to a movie in front of a live audience. They also put prompts on the screen so the audience can yell lines and use props to interact with the movie with them.
