The Echo Room Presents HER SONG 2017

By:
The team at Echo Theatre is hard at work with rehearsals for our annual tradition - The Echo Room presents: HER SONG, a music and dance review celebrating jewels from the Great American Female Songbook!

The 2017 Revival will be the fourth time Echo has presented this critically acclaimed audience favorite. This continuously evolving show is more than a Revival; it's a new experience every year. The show will preview February 9 and opens Feb. 10.

This time around:

1. The Echo team and music director Scott A. Eckert have updated the book this year providing additional insight into the personal lives of the entertainers. Their aspirations and struggles add depth to the show and a historical backdrop to the audience experience.

2. New songs have been added as well as new cast members. Some of our new faces include Angela Davis as BABE LOWRY, Whitney Coulter as Adelaide Hall, Greg Hullett as Montague Love, Andrea Cox as MARIA GALVANY, and Rodney Morris as DONNIE CANDOR. We also have a brand new band to entertain us, The Echo Room Quartet. Band members include Andrea Bunton on drums, Peggy Honea on bass, Timothy Moore on piano, and Scott A. Eckert as bandleader.

3. Echo has once again partnered with Chef Doug Brown and his award-winning catering team at Beyond the Box to elevate the "Supper Club-Style" food and libations available through our Cash Only bar.

4. We have partnered with ATTPAC for a more streamlined Box Office experience. Patrons may use Credit Cards to buy tickets Online or at the door when they check in for the show, but upon entry to the Echo Room, all purchases are Cash Only. The CASH ONLY dining experience adds to the 1930's Speak Easy atmosphere and expedites service during the show.
