Imagination Players And KD Studio Present LES MISERABLES, School Edition 7/17-19

Imagination Players will perform four shows of the much-loved musical, Les Miserables, in the KD Studio Theatre. The show, wich is directed by Linda Leonard and has musical direction by Lynn Ambrose will be performed July 17 at 7pm, July 18 at 2pm and 7pm, July 19 at 2pm. Based on the 1862 novel by Victor Hugo, with music by the French composer Claude-Michel Schonberg and a libretto by Alain Boublil, Les Miserables is one of the most beloved musicals of all time, an epic tale of injustice, greed, sacrifice and love. Set in France, it follows the intertwining stories of a cast of characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution over a twenty-year period in the early 19th century, including the Paris student uprising of 1832. This Tony Award-winning musical is 'sung through,' set to gorgeous, stirring music. Among the most famous songs are "I Dreamed a Dream," "Castle On A Cloud," "Do You Hear the People Sing", "Master of the House", "On My Own," and "Bring Him Home." This show is not recommended for very young children.
