Theatre FMPAT will celebrate its' 20th Anniversary with an all-star cast musical fairy tale of past Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre productions. Theatre FMPAT Gala's "Once Upon a Time - A Musical Fairy Tale Comes True" joins favorite theatre songs in a two act original production benefiting Theatre FMPAT and will open the 20th season for Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre (Theatre FMPAT), this FRIDAY & SATURDAY, February 17th and 18th in their new space at the MCL Grand Black Box Theater, 100 North Charles Street, Lewisville.

For 20 years Theatre FMPAT has brought audiences the most popular and successful plays and musical theatre productions in recent memory generating enthusiastic reviews and audiences. Theatre FMPAT has been the only professional, theatre company in Denton County since 1993.

The history of the theatre will be told in musical selections from past seasons and will include from such musical hits as: Gypsy, Into the Woods, Grease, Godspell, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, and more.

The cast for "Theatre FMPAT- Once Upon a Time" is comprised of some of the most well known actors in theatre throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area including (at press time): Beth Albright, Andi Allen, Megan Kelly Bates, Lon Barrera, Bradley Campbell, Allie Doke, Eric Domuret, Linda Leonard, Doug Miller, Delynda Moravec, Stephanie Riggs, Ryan Roach, Cara Statham Serber, Rick Starkweather, Amy Stevenson, and more. The show will be written and directed by Neale Whitmore and will feature music direction by Adam C. Wright.

"This milestone is not only a celebration in our theatre's history but a chance to welcome back so many wonderful actors that have graced our stage over the past 20 years to mark this anniversary," said Scott Kirkham, Theatre FMPAT Executive Producer. "In addition, to share this with the patrons and community that have supported us is indeed special!"

"Theatre FMPAT - Once Upon a Time" runs February 17th and 18th, at The MCL Grand Black Box Theater, located at 100 North Charles Street, Lewisville, beginning Theatre FMPAT's 20th season of plays and musicals. Each night cocktails and bar service with an original Mark Mullino painting raffle will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8:00 p.m. Attire for the evening's festivities will be cocktail or festive casual. Seats are available for $35 with special VIP packages at $75. VIP tickets include reserved premium seating and a cast autographed copy of the special 20th Anniversary - History of Theatre FMPAT, full-color booklet.
