Casa Mañana Announces Nominees For Twelfth Annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards

Casa Mañana today announced the nominees for this year's Twelfth Annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards, held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at Casa Mañana Theatre, presented by the Ann L. and Carol Greene Rhodes Charitable Trust, Bank of America, Trustee. 

Casa Mañana's Betty Lynn Buckley Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre across Tarrant County. A panel of distinguished judges comprised of local theatre professionals and educators, vote for a winner in each of 15 award categories. Winners in select categories are rewarded with a generous college scholarship. The winners in Best Female Actor and Best Male Actor will continue on to compete in the fourth annual National High School Musical Theatre Awards, held June 20 – 26, 2012, at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway.
