Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced its 2014 - 2015 Family Series. Eight shows will feature an array of talented international artists who will entertain and inspire families gathered for the spontaneous thrill and joy of live theater. Each performance will be preceded by an hour of free audience engagement activities themed to the show. Performances are in the Center's Samueli Theater unless otherwise noted.

Pre-Show Activities Announced for Audience Members of the Segerstrom Center's RAIN

Before Segerstrom Center audiences rock out to RAIN - A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES, they are invited to partake in pre-show activities that include a photo opportunity depicting a replica of the iconic album cover from The Beatles eleventh album, Abbey Road. There will also be Abbey Road trivia on display. Patrons are encouraged to post photos on their social media sites and use hashtag #RainTributeOC.

A dream cabaret pairing comes to Segerstrom Center for the Arts when Grammy® Award-winning artist Jimmy Webb and Grammy and Drama Desk-nominated vocalist Maureen McGovern perform three concerts in their Cabaret Series debuts today, April 11 - 13 in Samueli Theater. This will also be Webb's Center debut, while McGovern appeared at the Center during the 2004 - 2005 Broadway Series as Marmee in the national tour of Little Women. The New York Times proclaims McGovern as 'blessed with a vocal technique second to none' and says that Webb is 'at the top of his game.'
