Inspired by playwright Simon Stephens' own experiences as a teacher, Punk Rock is an honest and unnerving chronicle of contemporary adolescence at the breaking point. Punk Rock is inspired by the 1999 Columbine High School shooting, which Stephens believes "left its scar over the beginning of the 21st century."
