Jessie has moved back to live with her mother in a small house on a secluded road. Jessie's loveless marriage has ended in divorce, her son is a petty thief, her father, who she was close to, has died and she is in poor health. Her entire life revolves around taking care of her mother. She has made a decision and announces to her mother that she has decided to kill herself. And so the back and forth begins, But will Jessie go through with it. The play, by Marsha Norman is a Pulitzer Prize Winner for Drama.
