IMPROV RETURNS TO THEATER BARN STAGE SEPTEMBER 15th & 16th at Ridgefield Theater Barn

The Ridgefield Theater Barn is thrilled to be bringing Whose Barn is it Anyway? back to their stage this September. Following a year and a half hiatus, the improv troupe is back and sporting a lot of new faces – although audiences will be familiar with some returning favorites. Hosted by Matt Austin, performances are Friday and Saturday, September 15th & 16th at 8pm, and each evening will feature different players.

This spontaneous evening of skits and games, based on suggestions from the audience, has no script and no plot. Performers are thrust into situations where they must use their imagination and comedic instincts, and what evolves is a combination of stand-up comedy and game show—with hilarious results. In the unpredictable world of improvisational comedy, anything can happen…and usually does. But what makes Improv so unique and engaging is the audience participation in the mayhem.

So be prepared to enter a wacky world of anything-goes insanity, because the only thing that is predictable is an evening of laughs for everyone. Due to the spontaneous nature of improvisation, performances may contain adult language and themes that may not be suitable for children. Parental discretion is advised.

The Ridgefield Theater Barn is located at 37 Halpin Lane. Seating is cabaret-style, and the audience is invited to bring food and drinks. Concessions are also available in the lobby. Doors open one hour prior to curtain. Tickets are $25, and reservations can be made at ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.
