Award winning Pantochino Productions Inc. has announced casting for it's new family friendly musical "Porkenstein!" which opens on October 19th at the Center for the Arts in Milford, Connecticut.
The cast will be led by Owen Murphy of New York City as Dr. Pig and Rachael Dugas as his faithful assistant, Feegor. Joining them as a myriad of characters are Pantochino regulars, Justin Rugg, Shelley Marsh Poggio and Jimmy Johansmeyer. The cast also features Jessica Gagne.
"Porkenstein" is based on the popular book by Kathryn Lasky and features book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and pop/gothic music by Rugg. The story follows Doctor Pig as he works in his laboratory in hopes of creating a new, 'wolf-proof' friend in time for Halloween. Filled with laughter and original songs, the new musical proves friendship comes in all shapes, sizes and appetites.
Bernardi will stage and direct the show with sets by Von Del Mar, costumes by Johansmeyer and lighting by Timothy Cook.
