Opera House Players, Inc. presents the musical comedy COMPANY at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016 on September 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 (Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm). COMPANY music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth. This production is directed by Paul DiProto, with music direction by Bill Martin, and choreography by Eddie Zitka. Tickets: $21 (adults) and $17 (under 12/over 60), $15 (rush tickets for students w/ID, available 10 minutes before curtain if seats are available).

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor Robert Contemplates his unmarried state. In vignette after hilarious vignette, we are introduced to "those good and crazy people," his married friends, as Robert weighs the pros and cons of married life. In the end, he realizes being alone is "alone, not alive.

COMPANY marks the opening of the Opera House Players' 2013-2014 season. Additional shows this season are FOOTLOOSE (November), CABARET (February, 2014), and LES MISERABLES (May, 2014). Flex season passes and gift certificates are available.
