Momex to Bring ALCHEMIA to Warner Theatre, 1/18-19
On January 18 & 19, the irrepressible Moses Pendleton will present Alchemia, his new work for the dazzling dancer-illusionists of Momix at the Warner Theatre.
It's all about the art of alchemy, and the alchemy of art. Pendleton's latest creation is an enchanting, phantasmagorical multimedia spectacle full of invention, beauty, sensuality and humor.
Just as he led audiences on a surreal journey through the four seasons in "Botanica," in Alchemia Pendleton manipulates the four classic elements of earth, air, fire and water to produce a show full of aesthetic thrills, surprising metamorphoses, and the sexuality of nature itself. It's Momix at its most magical.
Performances are Saturday, Jan. 18 at 8pm and Sunday, Jan. 19 at 2pm. Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased by calling the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.
