Comix At Foxwoods Presents Gabriel Iglesias, 9/1

ALMA Award nominee, Gabriel Iglesias, will look to end the weekend at Comix on a good note, as he visits the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster and regular tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $40, $50 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

Iglesias' first two DVD specials, "Hot & Fluffy" and "I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy," sold more than one million copies. His latest Comedy Central DVD special, "Aloha Fluffy," aired in April 2013. His numerous television credits include: Cartoon Network's "The Annoying Orange," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Conan," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," FOX TV's "The Family Guy," "Good Morning America" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

Iglesias has co-hosted the top rated YouTube series, Ray William Johnson's "=3" and "Epic Meal Time," and also starred in the Warner Bros. mega-hit movie, "Magic Mike." He was top billed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festivals in both Montreal and Toronto, and in 2009 and 2010, was selected to headline the unique Amman Jordan Comedy Festival, the first of its kind in the Arab world.

Iglesias has been described as a witty, electrifying and talented performer, who has the ability to consistently deliver a uniquely hilarious comedy experience. His high-octane show is a sure-fire hit: a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life.
