POCATELLO at Helen Theatre

Pocatello is written by acclaimed writer, Samuel D. Hunter (THE WHALE).

Welcome to the best Italian restaurant in Pocatello, Idaho—where the coffee is hot, the customers have their quirks…and personal drama is on the menu.

In this heartfelt comedy, a struggling restaurant becomes the gathering place for an unforgettable cast of regulars and coworkers, all trying to figure out what comes next as the world around them is transformed by the endless artificiality of strip malls and chain restaurants.

Brought to life by the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program class, this vibrant ensemble piece will showcase for some of the region's most exciting emerging artists. Warm, hilarious, and deeply human, Pocatello is a funny and moving reminder that even when life doesn't go according to plan, we're all in it together.
