They Broke Up at Rivendell Theatre

They Broke Up is the world premiere of an apocalyptic absurdist comedy by Chicago playwright Skyler Tarnas, presented by Avalanche Theatre. It's New Year's Eve, and the world appears to be ending, but more importantly, Brett and Amy have just broken up. As aliens pollute the water, zombies run for Congress, and an apocalyptic cult plans for the end of days, their friends scheme to reunite the ex-couple while Brett and Amy try to navigate a world with an end-date and a world without each other. The cast features Gabriela Diaz, Alexander Attea, Ky Anderson, Haley Bolithon, Mitch Fischer, Reagan James, Jack Disselhorst, and Jo Tannous, directed by Owen Hickle-Edwards.
