TAKE at The Space at Rockwell

Created by Founder and Artistic Director Nick Pupillo, TAKE brings dancers and audiences together in an intimate, in-the-round setting, blending bold contemporary movement, live music, and moments of audience participation. Set to an electronic recorded score mixed with live music, the work explores the idea that you can't take without giving and can't give without taking. Audience members become part of a shared experience, invited to connect with the dancers and with one another. The piece features the full company of Visceral Dance Chicago, with lighting design by David Goodman-Edberg, sound design by Johnny Nevin, and costume design by Moriah Turner.
