Camerata Chicago's 23rd season opens with Felix Mendelssohn's music for A Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 61, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat Major, K. 297b, and the world premiere of Tony Payne's Fantasy on English Melodies. Music Director Drostan Hall will narrate excerpts from the play and conduct the program, with wind soloists Grace Hong, Elizandro Garcia Montoya, Vincent Karamanov, and Lee Shirer. Performances take place at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Armerding Concert Hall in Wheaton, and Union Church of Hinsdale.
