Arlington Heights, IL – The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre proudly presents the inaugural A Very Merry Metropolis Holiday Concert, a joyful new seasonal tradition bringing together rising young stars and celebrated Chicago artists for two unforgettable holiday performances.
Produced by Cabaret & Concerts, the new performance initiative created by Roberta Duchak & Carey Deadman, this concert is built on the mission of giving exceptional young performers the rare opportunity to share the stage with top-level professional musicians and vocalists. Duchak currently serves as the Musical Supervisor for Six the Musical, and Deadman is widely regarded as one of the finest orchestrators in the industry. Together, they are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent and creating unique concert experiences that uplift, inspire, and celebrate musical excellence.
This year’s concert will star acclaimed Chicago performers Emilie Lynn, who starred as Christine Daaé in the international touring company of The Phantom of the Opera, and Colte Julian, widely known for his electrifying portrayal of Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet productions across the country.
They will be joined by fourteen exceptional rising young artists: Tommy Balducci, Asha Dale Hopman, Madison Gold, Charlisse Gomez, Kavia Kakodkar, Ignacy Klimczuk, Tessa Matanovic, Carter McDonald, Sammy Menapace, Emma Ritter, Kaia Short, Sami Sienna, Emme Whitebone, and Jazmyne Williams.
The evening will also feature some of Chicago’s top-tier musicians: Jo Ann Daugherty (piano), Chuck Webb (bass), David Saenger (guitar), and Jim Widlowski (drums).
With festive classics, magical surprises, and awe-inspiring performances from young and seasoned professionals alike, A Very Merry Metropolis Holiday Concert promises to be the highlight of the holiday season.

The Lodge Performing Arts Center, 18 Villa Court in Elgin, was initially constructed in 1927 as a home for the Elgin Elks Fraternal Order. After many years of celebrating brotherhood at this location, the building was used as office space until it was reborn as an entertainment venue in 2026 following an 18-month, $2 million dollar renovation.
The Lodge Performing Arts Center is home to two resident theater groups, Schaumburg On Stage/Students on Stage and point2point productions. In addition to these two production companies, the lower level is home to the Elgin Arts Showcase, an innovative black box performance venue operated by the City of Elgin. Outside organizations are free to inquire about rental availability at thelodge@schaumburgonstage.org.
Both the Elgin Art Showcase and The Lodge Performing Arts Center are fully accessible for persons that require barrier-free access at our 220 DuPage Entrance. Both spaces are equipped with accessible seating and accessible bathroom facilities. The Lodge Performing Arts Center has Enhanced Hearing Devices for all performances upon request. Units are limited, so please contact us prior to the date of your arrival at thelodge@schaumburgonstage.org to reserve your hearing device.
