Captain Von Trapp is in need of a governess for his seven children; the Sisters of the Abbey aren’t sure Maria is cut out for life in the church, and so an arrangement is made. Maria is up for the challenges that these mischievous children throw at her and quickly befriends each one, becoming much more than just a governess. Recommended for grades 2-8.
