The answers to these and other humorous questions are answered in the hit holiday comedy CHRISTMAS BINGO: ITS A HO-HO-HOLY NIGHT.Written by Vicki Quade, CHRISTMAS BINGO brings together two of the best things about being Catholic: Christmas and Bingo. The show features the character of Mrs. Mary Margaret OBrien, a former nun and current bingo caller.In this interactive comedy, audience members play bingo while also answering questions about Christmas traditions, the origin of St. Nick, where do candy canes come from, miracles in the Bible . . . and a clever re-creation of the Annunciation, complete with audience members in angel wings and halos.Vicki Quade is one of the creators of the international hit, Late Nite Catechism, and a host of other nun comedies, performed regularly on a national tour. She also has a line of bingo shows, including Bible Bingo, and Christmas Bingo: Its a Ho-Ho-Holy Night. She has a new Halloween show called Holy Ghost Bingo. And just added Easter Bunny Bingo. Born in Chicago, she was taught by Adrian Dominican and Sinsinawa Dominican nuns, and has been adopted by a number of religious orders! About the Theatre
The Lodge Performing Arts Center, 18 Villa Court in Elgin, was initially constructed in 1927 as a home for the Elgin Elks Fraternal Order. After many years of celebrating brotherhood at this location, the building was used as office space until it was reborn as an entertainment venue in 2026 following an 18-month, $2 million dollar renovation.
The Lodge Performing Arts Center is home to two resident theater groups, Schaumburg On Stage/Students on Stage and point2point productions. In addition to these two production companies, the lower level is home to the Elgin Arts Showcase, an innovative black box performance venue operated by the City of Elgin. Outside organizations are free to inquire about rental availability at thelodge@schaumburgonstage.org.
Both the Elgin Art Showcase and The Lodge Performing Arts Center are fully accessible for persons that require barrier-free access at our 220 DuPage Entrance. Both spaces are equipped with accessible seating and accessible bathroom facilities. The Lodge Performing Arts Center has Enhanced Hearing Devices for all performances upon request. Units are limited, so please contact us prior to the date of your arrival at thelodge@schaumburgonstage.org to reserve your hearing device.
