Blue Dress at The Annoyance Theatre

Blue Dress is a world premiere queer comedy-fantasy play from Yas, And! Comedy, running at the Annoyance Theatre during Pride. Two overworked ghostwriters, Sean and Colin, are tasked with writing a queer twisted fairytale, only to have their fictional heroines Dorothy and Alice spring to life in a merged world of Oz and Wonderland. The story unfolds on two levels simultaneously — a workplace comedy about the authors and an absurdist adventure about the characters they're creating — with the writing process increasingly mirroring the journey being written. The cast of eleven includes Maya Paletta, Nora McCaughey, Thomas Beheler, and Connor J. Hirsch, directed by Christopher Willumsen.
