In the historical drama A Picasso, set in 1941 Occupied Paris, Pablo Picasso finds himself entangled in a dangerous game of deception when summoned by a Nazi cultural attaché to verify the authenticity of confiscated paintings. As tensions rise, the play explores themes of art, politics, and survival, featuring Jamie Ewing as Picasso and Lori Rohr as Miss Fischer. Directed by Daniel King, this witty and fast-paced narrative reflects contemporary issues while delivering a gripping story of power and truth. A Picasso runs from December 4 to 21 at the Greenhouse Theater Center.
