Riverdance Returns to Chicago for Two-Week Engagement

Riverdance, the renowned celebration of dance and music, will enjoy a two-week Chicago engagement April 3-15 at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. Since its world premiere in Dublin at the Point Theatre in 1995, Riverdance has become nothing short of a worldwide sensation, captivating audinces in 276 venues over 32 countries in four continents, playing for nearly 20 million people. Composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya doherty and directed by John McColgan, Riverdance has also sold 2.5 million copies of a Grammy Award-winning CD and played to a worldwide television audience of over 1.75 billion.

Scheduled performances are: Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 2 & 7:30 p.m., Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2 & 8:00 p.m., & Sundays at 2:00 p.m. The performance on Tuesday, April 3 will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for Riverdance range in price from $20 - $70 and are available in person at the Auditorium Theatre Box Office (50 E. Congress Parkway), Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (24 W.
