Eric Anthony Lopez Sets Departure Date From Terrence McNally's MASTER CLASS; Teases ‘Exciting Announcement’
BroadwayWorld has learned exclusively that Eric Anthony Lopez, who is currently starring opposite Janet Ulrich Brooks (Peter Morgan's The Audience, ChicagoMED, Divergent) in Terrence McNally's MASTER CLASS in Chicago; is set to depart the Revival with his final critically acclaimed performance in the role of Tony Candolino on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2pm.
Currently in performances at STAGE773 (1225 Belmont Ave), the TONY Award winning play follows opera icon Maria Callas as she teaches a series of courses at Julliard in the 1970s. MASTER CLASS began performances October 19th under the direction of Nick Bowling.
The golden-voiced 23-year-old tenor hinted at an 'Exciting Announcement' coming soon via his @eric.anthony.lopez Instagram:
