Carnegie Hall or Bust!

Amy Armstrong has her eyes set on Carnegie. She and Freddy Allen, her best friend and music director, had been a Chicago favorite for years before taking their Big Time Show on the road and across the ocean via RSVP Cruise Lines. They quickly became one of their most popular cabaret acts and were named RSVP's Entertainment Ambassadors in 2006 and 2007.
Some entertainers just have that special chemistry together. Amy and Freddy certainly do. It's easy to think of them as a modern day Bette Midler and Barry Manilow. Amy is a consummate pro at working the audience with her bawdy sense of humor, and Freddy is always there with her, adding his jabs, or acting as her "straight man." I don't think the room has been created that can actually contain the energy and power of Amy Armstrong. Her voice is a powerful instrument that can blow the roof off, while in its more subdued moments, can express a subtle vulnerability that can mesmerize an audience into a complete silence. Freddy's arrangements are studio session quality, performed with a passion that meets Amy somewhere in the middle of her storm.Videos
