Stage and film legend Michael York marks his North American touring debut by starring as King Arthur in the magnificent new production of Lerner & Loewe's CAMELOT which will play in Chicago for a limited two-week engagement this May.  Glenn Casale directs this daring re-staging of the original script, adapted with an edgy new concept by Michael Lerner, and co-produced by Liza Lerner, Alan Jay Lerner's son and daughter respectively.  Rachel York and James Barbour join Michael York as the stars of this brand new touring production.

Michael York, who famously portrayed Cliff in Bob Fosse's Oscar winning film "Cabaret," D'Artagnan in "The Three Musketeers," and was a featured star in all three of the wildly successful "Austin Powers" movies, is heading the cast as King Arthur. His Broadway credits include Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, the musical of The Little Prince, Bent, The Crucible, and the world premiere of Tennessee Williams' Outcry. CAMELOT marks York's North American touring debut.

Rachel York, seen in Broadway's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Victor/Victoria, and on tour in Kiss Me Kate, is torn between two lovers as Guenevere.  James Barbour, the dashing leading man of Broadway's Assassins, Jane Eyre, Urinetown, and Beauty and the Beast, completes the memorable love-triangle as Lancelot.

With a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Lowe, the splendid, memorable score includes the romantic and haunting "If Ever I Would Leave You," the captivating "How to Handle a Woman" and the majestic "Camelot."  Rediscover the grandeur of one of history's greatest love stories.
