Autre Monde Cafe to Present A SHAKESPEARE 400 DINNER: TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA
Autre Monde Cafe & Spirits welcomes Shakespeare enthusiasts to an evening of community collaboration with a delicious meal and dynamic acting. The Culinary Complete Works Shakespeare 400 dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, in conjunction with Berwyn's 16th Street Theater.
Playwrights Arlene Malinowski, Juan Villa and Rob Koon artfully developed an unforgettable evening of pop-up performances inspired by the Shakespearean comedy, Two Gentlemen of Verona.
As snippets adapted from the classic tale of friendship, love and betrayal are acted out, Chefs Dan Pancake and Beth Partridge of Autre Monde will serve a carefully curated four-course meal that takes guests on a journey from Verona to Milan.
The menu includes regional wine pairings from Sommelier John Aranza. Tickets are priced at $75 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). The dinner includes four courses and paired wines with a reception prior to the event.
