Hendersonville Theatre presents its inaugural One Act Play Festival from August 23-25, 2024, featuring two shows that highlight short plays by local, regional, and national playwrights. Among the works included is Tree #2 by R.A. Pauli, which humorously explores an actor's obsession with his role, and A Sign You Were Alive by Rebecca Kane, delving into a father's struggles during a pandemic. Local actors like Goober Berdine and Shayne Gardner, along with seasoned performers, will bring these powerful and dynamic plays to life under the direction of Dakota Mann, Liz Martino, and others. The festival celebrates a diverse range of storytelling, ensuring a rich theatrical experience for audiences.
