HEATRE CHARLOTTE AUDITIONS FOR A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Adapted by John Jakes, From the novel by Charles Dickens

The role of Ebenezer Scrooge is cast. All other roles are available. Seeking 10 men, 6 women, 4 boys, 2 girls. Age ranges from 8 to 80!

This is a Theatre Charlotte holiday tradition, but this year in a different, more traditional production, adapted by best-selling author John Jakes.

Characters include: Bob Cratchit; Scrooge's nephew, Fred; Fezziwig; Ghost of Christmas Present; Ghost of Christmas Past; Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come; Mrs. Cratchit; Tiny Tim; Mrs. Fezziwig; Jacob Marley; Young Ebenezer (20s); Fan; Belle; Charles Dickens (as narrator); and others. There will be some doubling and tripling of characters.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. If you are a singer, you may be asked to sing a verse of a Christmas carol.

The production will be directed by Ron Law.
