CPCC opens Big River: The Musical Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Roger Miller on Friday February 15th for a two week run in the Halton Theater. Based on Mark Twain's immortal classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Big River sweeps us down the mighty Mississippi as the irrepressible Huck Finn helps his friend Jim, a slave, escape to freedom at the mouth of the Ohio River. Their adventures along the way are hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming. Propelled by an award winning score from Roger Miller, the king of country music, this jaunty journey provides a brilliantly theatrical celebration of pure Americana.

This production stars Jordan Ellis as Huck, Kevin Harris as Jim, Geoff Knight as the Duke, Roger Watson as the King, Brian Holloway as Pap Finn, Anne Lambert as the Widow Douglas, Carol Weiner as Miss Watson, Matt Kenyon as Judge Thatcher, Ericka Ross as Alice and Caroline Chisholm as Mary Jane Wilkes. Stage Direction by Tom Hollis, Musical Direction by Ellen Robison, Choreography by Ron Chisholm, Scenic Design by James Duke, Costume Design by Jamey Varnadore and Lighting Design by Rick Moll.

Tickets are $18.00/16.00. Call the SunTrust box office at 704-330-6534 or order them online at tix.cpcc.edu 24/7.
