Hairspray at OFC Creations Theatre Center

Set in 1962 Baltimore, this musical follows plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad as she pursues her dream to dance on the Corny Collins Show. Tracy transforms from social outcast to sudden star, using her newfound fame to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and help integrate a TV network. The production features the score of hit songs including Welcome to the Sixties, Good Morning Baltimore, and You Can't Stop the Beat. Directed by Eric Vaughn Johnson and choreographed by Jasón N. Wells, featuring professional performers from across the country.
