Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) is proud to present "A Night At The Copa Starring Donny Most" on Sunday, May 7 at 7 p.m. Donny Most and his big blazing band perform the music of Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin along with the great American standards that have a jazz feel, such as songs from Dean Martin and Nat King Cole. Donny Most also mixes in lively tunes from the '30s, '40s and the Louis Prima jump 'n' jive genre.

Donny Most is probably most recognizable from his beloved role as the character Ralph Malph in the decade long hit television series, "Happy Days." Some people may have also caught him in his recurring roles on "Glee," or his starring roles in several indie films, but after all these years, Donny is finally reunited with his first love - singing.

As a child growing up in Brooklyn, N.Y., Donny Most wanted to be just like the entertainers in his favorite film, "The Jolson Story." While in junior high school, he committed to the professional study of acting, singing and dancing. At age 15, he got his first big break as part of a teenage musical revue that played the famous "Borscht-Belt" circuit of New York's Catskill Mountains.

At 20 years old, Donny Most catapulted into the American zeitgeist when he won the role of Ralph Malph in the television pilot "Happy Days." The role was originally a stock jock character. Director Jerry Paris and executive producer Garry Marshall were charmed by Most's charisma and natural comedic timing that they reworked the part and transformed Ralph Malph into the lovable class comedian that won the hearts of America.

In the two decades following the success of "Happy Days," Donny Most continued to entertain and inspire audiences and earned critical acclaim in a long list of television and film roles. His film credits include "EDtv," "Crazy Mama," "The Yankles" and "The Great Buck Howard," starring John Malkovich. Most's television roles include: "Glee," "Men Of A Certain Age," "Star Trek: Voyager," "Sliders," "Yes, Dear," "The Crow," "Sabrina," "CHiPs," "Baywatch," "The Love Boat," "Diagnosis: Murder," "Century City," "Dark Skies" and "Family Guy."

Throughout his storied career, Donny Most's dream of returning to his early musical days never wavered. Inspired by his love of swing, jazz and big band music, he created the musical revue "Donny Most Sings and Swings." The show debuted in Los Angeles at Catalina's Jazz Club in Hollywood, and Vitello's Jazz Club in Studio City to great acclaim. Most's continues to showcase his love of the great standards in his latest show, "A Night At The Copa."

Tickets for "A Night At The Copa Starring Donny Most" are available online, by phone or at the box office. Ticket prices range from $35 to $55 plus a ticket service fee. There is a backstage VIP meet & greet pass available for $75, but is sold separately from the admission ticket to the show.
