Theatre summer camp in Culver City, CA
The Michelle Danner Acting Studio in Culver City offers summer camps for children and teens, available in person in Los Angeles and online. Programs are grouped by age: Fairytales & Superheroes for ages 5-7, and separate 8-12 and 13-17 tracks for the remaining camps. The Filmmaking/Acting Camp has students develop a story idea, write a script, plan a production schedule, light and shoot in HD, and edit a short film, commercial or PSA. The Acting/Theater Camp covers improvisation games, on-camera audition technique for film and television, scene study with monologues and scenes, and a voice and speech intensive. A Musical Theater camp focuses on dance combinations, song preparation and vocal performance, and scene work. A YouTube Creator camp teaches channel setup, live streaming, thumbnails and content production. The school teaches Meisner, Strasberg, Adler and Stanislavski techniques.
