Vertigo Theatre Presents Canadian Premiere of MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD

Vertigo Theatre continues its 2018-2019 season with MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD: A NERO WOLFE MYSTERY, by Joseph Goodrich, March 16-April 14, 2019. Performance times are 7:30pm Tuesdays-Saturdays, 2:00pm Sundays, with additional matinees 2:00pm Saturdays. Eleven years ago, wealthy businesswoman Mrs. Herold tossed her only son Paul onto the streets to fend for himself. Now, realizing the error of her ways, she has come looking for one last chance to make amends...only to find he's been accused of murder! Mrs. Herold needs help, the kind that only detective Nero Wolfe and his stalwart assistant, Archie Goodwin, can provide. But the deeper that Wolfe and Archie go, the more tangled the web gets. Playwright Joseph Goodrich-writer of the immensely popular CALAMITY TOWN- returns to Vertigo with his new adaptation of Rex Stout's beloved character, the inimitable Nero Wolfe!

MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD is directed by Haysam Kadri and stars Grant Linneberg as Nero Wolfe, Stafford Perry as Archie Goodwin, Karen Johnson-Diamond as Mrs. Herrold/Fanny Irwin, David Lereany as Inspector Cramer/Breyer, Alex Cherovsky as Peter Hays/Ralph Arkoff, Sarah Wheeldon as Suki Molloy/Doll Bonner, Andy Curtis as Tom Irwin/Fritz, Arielle Rombough as Rita/Delia, and Devon Dubnyk as Pat Degan/Johnny Keems.

MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD is directed by Haysam Kadri, Set & Lighting DesignerNarda McCarroll, Costume Designer April Viczko, Composer/Sound Designer Andrew Blizzard, Fight Director Karl Sine, Stage Manager Johanne Deleeuw, Assistant Stage Manager Catherine Rouleau, Apprentice Stage Manager Millie Winzinowich , Voice/Dialect Coach Jane MacFarlane.

MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD at Vertigo Theatre, previews March 16-20 with the official opening March 21, playing until April 14. Performances run Tuesday - Saturday at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm.
