Dark kabarett chanteuse and composer Artemisia LeFay premieres a new show exploring the music, words, and stories of radical thinkers and vaudevillians from the Weimar Republic era of the 1920s and 1930s. The performance draws on the works of figures such as Claire Waldoff, Kurt Weill, Mischa Spoliansky, and Hans Eisler, examining how music served as medicine during times of fascist political upheaval. LeFay is joined by double bassist Clayton Thompson and pianist Renee Guerrero.
