DREAM: A Freudian Musical at Joe's Pub

A brand-new musical by Larson Award winner Daniel Emond set inside the dreamspace, telling the little-known story of Sabina Spielrein, a "hysteria" patient-turned-psychoanalyst, her physician-turned-lover Carl Jung, and their mutual mentor Sigmund Freud. The original score collides influences from Joanna Newsom, Sam Smith, Wagner, and Eminem. The 75-minute show features Ellie Barone as Sabina, Jordon Bolden as Jung, Daniel Emond as Freud, Jo Lampert as S. Spielrein, with special guest Samantha Pauly, and music direction by JT Kaufman. Presented in partnership with YoungArts.
