Iconic American singer-songwriter James Taylor is the voice of folk rock. Taylor achieved his breakthrough in 1970 with "Fire And Rain" and since then has created many beloved songs such as "You've Got A Friend," "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)," "Shower The People," "Up On The Roof," and more. Join us as we celebrate James Taylor's catalogue of joyful songs from the past 40 years on the charts. The acclaimed actor/Tony-nominated playwright and drag legend returns to 54 Below for a special one-night-only New Years Eve show, chock full of outrageous personal stories, original characters, classic songs and music that are sure to put you in the New Years spirit, all performed with his own unique form of glamour. Charles Busch continues to delight and re-define his craft as a master humorist, entertainer and camp icon. The author of dozens of hit plays (Tale of the Allergists Wife, Die! Mommie! Die!, Psycho Beach Party, The Divine Sister, and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom to name but a few), Busch is joined by his longtime Musical Director Tom Judson. Following her critically acclaimed show Hard Rain at 59E59 Theaters, Britain's top song stylist and international cabaret singer Barb Jungr presents the American premiere of a special concert originally created for London Festival of Cabaret 2013. In Mad About the Boy and No Regrets, walk on the dark side of love and loss, sex and corruption of the soul as Barb sings Springsteen, Coward, Dylan, Weill, Cohen and more. Every performance is a roller coaster ride. Are you strong enough? In 2013 and 2014 Barb Jungr performed in the O'Neill Connecticut Celebration of Cabaret twice, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, toured Australia, and performed in New York, Toronto, and across the UK. Two of New York's most dynamic and powerful vocalists team up for an evening of Broadway and more. An Evening With Michael Padgett and Anthony Logan Cole is a night of big Broadway sound and personal stories from the stage and the wings. Padgett (Jekyll and Hyde, Carousel, Camelot) and Cole (Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Beauty and The Beast) sing from their favorite scores with special guests from Broadway and beyond. THE LOBBYISTS: SONGS FROM SEAWIFE , January 2 at 11:30PM:

Born out of the lobby of The Flea Theater in 2012, downtown indie-rockster/folksters The Lobbyists have crafted a distinctive harmony-driven style that draws on folk, bluegrass, country, pop, and Americana. Their charismatic live performance has been charming audiences from Rockwood Music Hall and Ars Nova to New York Stage & Film and The Cape Cod Theater Project. For this one-night-only concert event, The Lobbyists perform songs from their upcoming concert play SeaWife, created with playwright Seth Moore and developed by director Liz Carlson, as well as Lobbyists favorites. SeaWife, an epic nautical ghost story with music set at the height of the golden age of American whaling, is slated for production with Naked Angels in New York City in summer 2015. $15 cover charge. $30 premium seating. $20 food & beverage minimum or two drinks.

ELENA SHADDOW, January 3 at 9:30PM:

After a sold-out solo debut at 54 Below last fall, Broadway leading lady Elena Shaddow returns to kick off 2015 with an exciting evening dedicated to her favorite contemporary composers. Elena recently played Sister Sophia in the NBC live television event The Sound of Music, and played Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County. Her Broadway credits include Anne Dindon in La Cage Aux Folles, The Woman in White, Fiddler on the Roof, Nine, Sweet Smell of Success, and Les Miserables. She starred as Fanny in Fanny at City Center Encores, played Magnolia in Showboat at the Royal Albert Hall, and received a Helen Hayes Best Actress nomination for playing Clara in the first national tour of The Light in the Piazza. Possessing one of the most beautiful voices in theater today, Elena has had the good fortune to perform the works-on Broadway and regionally-of her favorite contemporary composers, to whom she pays tribute in this show Always Better: The New Golden Age of Musicals. $30-40 cover charge. $65 premium seating. $25 food & beverage minimum.

Ellyn Marie Marsh is... INAPPROPRIATE. Currently in the hit show Kinky Boots, Ellyn Marie Marsh balances maintaining a busy Broadway career with playing mom to 5 year old Lola, who's too cavalier to care what Ellyn had to do to get her that Elsa dress! In INAPPROPRIATE, Ellyn shares her sharp comedic wit and high belting, offering an evening of popular songs, musical theater songs, and of course, medleys - accompanied by stories of performing on Broadway and persuading her daughter to be doctor. Ellyn's received accolades for her versatile performances: from Ellen's Stardust Diner to the rehearsal room for her Broadway debut as a replacement in Cry Baby, which closed before her first performance. $20 cover charge. $55 premium seating. $20 food & beverage minimum or two drinks.

RACHELLE RAK, January 4 at 9:30PM:

In her world premiere show, Sas with One S , Broadway's Rachelle Rak is going to share her strength, her passion, and her Sas with you. Rachelle has been performing in Broadway shows for over two decades. Her credits include Cats, Fosse, Thou Shalt Not, Oklahoma!, The Look of Love, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Catch Me If You Can. Rachelle is ferociously 44 and proud of it. This new mom has worked with some of the most talented people in show business and boy does she have a story to tell. From Broadway to Dance Moms to motherhood and back! This event will include songs from Starlight Express, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Fosse, The Jack Cole Project, Rachelle's signature song "SAS," and so much more.
