BWW Review: LOVE, National Theatre
by Philip Fisher - December 14, 2016
Love takes place in the communal area of a council run hostel for the homeless in the run-up to Christmas. However, rather than the drunks, junkies and down and outs that one typically pictures in such properties, the inhabitants on show are a broad cross-section of today's underclass....

by Richard Sasanow - November 13, 2016
Always looking for new worlds to conquer, Gioachino Rossini wrote GUILLAUME TELL in French, as Paris became the center of the opera world. BWW Review: THE LAST TANGO, Phoenix Theatre, 28 September 2016
by Marianka Swain - September 30, 2016
With pristine timing, just as Strictly takes to the floor, the third - and final - touring show from former pros Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace makes a stop in the West End. The 'last' of the title is more pertinent than the 'tango', as this is more of a medley of styles: the ballroom and Latin nu...

BWW Review: SISTER ACT at Omaha Community Playhouse
by Christine Swerczek - September 16, 2016
SISTER ACT is a simple story about nuns in wimples who are taught to let loose in song by a nightclub singer who is cloistered at the convent in hiding from the hoods. This story isn't just black and white. Well, maybe it is. But this foot stomping musical set in 1970's Philadelphia is fun, no matte...

BWW Review: BOOK OF MORMON Triumphs at Wharton Center
by Anton Anderssen - June 19, 2016
I love Mormons. I met my first church member while I was a teenager, studying my family history. They archive practically every family tree ever recorded.
