ZOMBIE Star Bill Connington Wins 2018 California Film Award

Renowned actor/director Bill Connington's film Charles and Mimsey Wainwright: International Spies scored a prestigious Silver Award in the Short Film category at the 2018 California Film Awards. The award dinner with top industry leaders was held in San Diego.

Connington, an award-winning actor and writer, is best known for his turn in the film Zombie based on the novella by iconic author Joyce Carol Oates. Connington is quickly becoming one of the emerging New York filmmakers to watch. He currently has two independent feature films entering the film festival circuit: Love, Repeat, a contemporary urban dramedy, and Poughkeepsie is for Lovers, a contemporary drama/psychological horror film.

Connington stars In Charles and Mimsey Wainwright with Annmarie Benedict. They are reunited after several projects together; the film showcases their enticing performances and strong on-screen chemistry. The film was produced by Kelley Van Dilla.
