Inspired by the widespread popularity of Yo Gabba Gabba, co-creator Scott Schultz and his brother Ben Schultz, Yo Gabba Gabba Music Supervisor, are embarking on a new project to bring music, art, puppets, sign language, and giggles to the youngest audiences with Hi BabyBoo! Along with The Magic Store team that brought viewers Yo Gabba Gabba, the Schultzes are partnering with Night & Day Studios, the award-winning creators of bestselling app Peekaboo Barn, to bring the new brand to life. Intent on growing Hi BabyBoo! with fan input and support, the group has launched a Kickstarter campaign (http://www.hibabyboo.com/Kickstarter) to fund initial development and production of the TV show and mobile app.

The Schultzes' team at The Magic Store and Night & Day Studios view the Kickstarter platform as an unconventional but delightfully collaborative path to developing new intellectual property and kids' entertainment. Kickstarter funding will help produce a new multimedia experience for toddlers and babies, including five-minute-long episodes of the new show and an interactive iPad app that kids and grownups can enjoy together. Like Yo Gabba Gabba, Hi Baby Boo! will engage the whole family through silly scenes, different kinds of music, colorful visuals and puppet characters.

With The Magic Store's extensive and successful television background and Night & Day Studios' wealth of experience in developing mobile apps, the partnership was a natural fit. During its multi-season run on Nick Jr., Yo Gabba Gabba has consistently maintained a #1 ranking in its time slot among kids ages 2-5. Night & Day Studios' hit mobile app Peekaboo Barn has been played over 60 million times, and both partners are eager to collaborate on this new dual-screen project.

Night & Day CEO Nat Sims expressed excitement stating, "Night & Day has been developing original IP and licensing major brands since the App Store opened in 2008. But this is the first time that we can help develop the brand with an amazing partner like the Schultz brothers and The Magic Store team. We know the strengths they bring in television and character creation from our favorite show [Gabba], and in turn we can bring our experience creating over a hundred kids' apps. But most of all, we've always known there were untapped abilities of these powerful, portable computers in the hands of children and families, and we're delighted to be creating a new experience, app, and show all at once, with the needs, skills, and healthy development of digital natives first in our thoughts."

Scott Schultz said, "I've always been starstruck with the baby and toddler years of life. It's such a beautiful happy time. As an adult now, I love to share the experience with them. Communication goes beyond words, it's the sights, sounds, smiles, hugs and positive vibrations of sharing time together that are the most important things for me."
