X Games Minneapolis Races into Mall of America with Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing

Celebrating the X GAMES debut in Minnesota, X GAMES will bring premiere racing action to fans at Mall of America on Thursday, July 13, to kick off the inaugural event in front of one of the top tourist destinations in the country.

Joining U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis as a venue for the world's premiere ACTION SPORTS competition and youth culture experience, Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing at Mall of America will feature athletes racing high-performance motorcycles in close proximity around an oval track at speeds up to 130 mph. With the roots of Flat Track Racing dating back to the early 1900s, the sport is one of the most traditional motorcycle racing disciplines.

Tickets for X GAMES Minneapolis 2017, including the Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing competition for $10, are available for purchase now at http://www.xgames.com/tickets. General admission, VIP, one-day and three-day experiences are all available, with music options also offered.

The following is the schedule of events at Mall of America on July 13 (all times local CT):

  1. p.m. Gates at Mall of America Open
  2. p.m. Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing Round One, Last Chance Qualifier, and Final

Starting that day and through Sunday, July 16, ESPN and ABC will televise a combined 18.5 hours of live X GAMES coverage, which will also be accessible via WatchESPN and WatchABC to viewers who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. Additional coverage of sports and music will be carried on ESPN3 as well as the latest coverage across ESPN digital platforms, including XGames.com, the X GAMES app, and X GAMES pages across YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more. Following X GAMES Minneapolis 2017, ABC will deliver four hours of anthology programming on Saturday, July 22 as part of the WORLD OF X GAMES series.
