Wynonna to Appear on NBC's HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT, Today

WYNONNA JUDD and her band The Big Noise are currently on a summer tour running through the end of August, but the five-time Grammy winning singer, songwriter, musician, New York Times bestselling author and shoe designer has decided that while she works hard, it's also important to play.

WYNONNA will appear on NBC's celebrity game show "Hollywood Game Night" this Thursday, July 17 at 8/7c. She'll be joined by Johnny Weir, Scott Foley, Leah Remini, Krysten Ritter and Nick Swardson for an hour full of games and laughs.

Fans will have the opportunity to win a free pair of shoes from WYNONNA's own line, "Got Soul." During the broadcast of "Hollywood Game Night," WYNONNA (@WynonnaMusic) and the show (@NBCGameNight) will tweet out a question about the episode. Those who answer the question correctly, and tag both @WynonnaMusic and @NBCGameNight with the hashtag #WynonnaGameNight, will be eligible for a free pair of "Got Soul" shoes. The country icon is also set to perform the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, August 3 before the LA Dodgers and Chicago Cubs game at 1:10pm PT. The evening prior to the baseball game (8/2), WYNONNA & The Big Noise will perform a free show in Los Angeles as part of "Country in the City," an all ages, free concert series presented by KCRW 89.9 FM. The series also serves to celebrate the Annenberg Space for Photography's "Country: Portraits of an American Sound" exhibit running now throughSeptember 28. Additionally, WYNONNA is working with husband/producer/drummer Cactus Moser on solo material for her 8th studio album due out2015 on Curb Records. She recently opened up to Rolling Stone Country about the direction the new music is taking. "It's vintage yet modern," she says. "It's hard to explain. A lot of the things I did I'm drawing from, yet the new sound is so simple and so pure. I'm playing instruments on stage that I started playing when I was nine. The couple recently released "Follow Me," an original song exclusively for the film "The Hornet's Nest" which features unprecedented real footage to tell the story of an elite group of U.S. troops sent on a dangerous mission deep inside one of Afghanistan's most hostile valleys.
