The creators of the narco-themed comedy series, BORDEERLNE announced the show will begin production of its highly anticipated 2nd season in the coming weeks. The first season of the Wize Guys Comedy original series was picked up in 2015 by Amazon Prime Video for exclusive distribution and debuted on the major streaming media platform on September 22. Producers confirm they are in talks with a number of television networks, as well as streaming media companies for the exclusive distribution rights of the show's second season.

Written and directed by Geo Santini, Borderline Season 1 follows the serial escapades of Jerry Diaz, a cartel boss with borderline personality disorder who is intent on bringing his criminal EMPIRE into the 21st century. Much like in the first season, which featured a cast of local LA comedy fixtures like Wilmer Calderón and Erick Chavarría, Season 2 will once again welcome a number of familiar faces including traditional on-screen actors as well as some of the top digital media influencers.

"I'm beyond thrilled to be able to bring a second season of Borderline to life. The first season was a truly magical experience seeing a character I'd developed come to life. Season 2 promises to reach new heights, and I'm excited to welcome another humorous and intriguing storyline, memorable characters, and an experience that will leave viewers coming back for more laughs." states the show's creator, Geo Santini.

Santini, whom under his production company Wize Guys Comedy, has been creating and producing sketch comedy for over 5 years. First getting his start producing music videos, the New York native soon found his passion for comedy and has developed loyal following along the way. In late 2016, Santini signed with MPM Partners, a full-service talent management firm representing some of the top multicultural content creators in the world. Under the leadership and guidance of MPM, Santini is building strategic partnerships with other top content creators around the world to bring his brand to the forefront of sketch comedy and digital content.

The second season of Borderline is slated to premiere in late 2017.
